Terroir
The typical granite soils and the countless mountains of the Planalto Beirão helped to create exceptional conditions for the production of truly memorable wines. We work on every detail in the vineyard with the aim that our wines undergo as little intervention as possible in the cellar.
The vineyards occupy 11 hectares of Quinta de Santo António where some of the noblest grape varieties of the region were planted such as Encruzado, Touriga Nacional, Jaen and Alfrocheiro. We added Tinta Roriz and Rufete which, although not native to the Dão, have adapted splendidly to our terroir.
